Amy strikes Gold

My Amy stamps her authority on this competition and gets rewarded with gold. Wow!!! Amy strikes Gold, literally. All the local schools entered a competition for the 2019 “Draw My Stamp Story”. Basically taking a Singaporean stamp and making a picture of it. And Amy comes up with the genius camera idea as you’ll see below. Amaze-balls!!!

So she won the gold medal award for her age group, including a rather nice trophy. All of us are massively proud of course, so we went to see it yesterday after our Walking With Dinosaurs experience (more of that on a blog here soon). Her work is on exhibit at the Singapore National Library, for a week or so as part of this competition outcome. Level 9 if you are interested to have a look. Amy strikes Gold. Apparently she had to do press interviews and missed the free food at the award winner announcements. Oh dear, food more important???

Here’s that trophy. Nicely done Amy. Very proud of you! And at the same time, we have Jude’s new piece of artwork on display at his school. Gustav Klimt’s – Golden Lady. To be seen by Mary and me yet, but to come to a blog near you soon. Very proud parents.

You’ll see this sign when you exit the lifts on the 9th floor. There you go, the exhibition expires on 2nd September.

My little Chelsea-boy was very proud to come and see his sister’s work. We’ll be seeing yours too soon matey!

And here it is. The picture sits proudly along with the other gold category winners. Her name and school are in that little plaque above. Literally here name is in lights for a week.

We even got to see her mate’s entry and award. Here is our mate Ivy’s entry – just in case Mum and Dad don’t have the chance to pop along and see this. Family Leach, here you go my lovelies. So many congratulations!!!
