As I said in Marlon’s blog, I have not done this for a while re showing some of the surrounding scenery, so be atop the flier is a perfect way to do that!  Here’s a pretty artsy, filtered snap from the 1st floor, we’re about to “board” our pod and start the hour long revolutionRead More

Mary’s brother lives about 2 hours flight away in Brunei, sort of “in” Malaysia and one of the world’s richest countries. He took some leave and came to stay with us.  Despite leaving him at the airport for an hour on his own walking around (Mary got the times of the arrival wrong!) he wasRead More

[zilla_likes]

So this year she turned the ripe old age of 47 – only 3 years older than yours truly. She definitely had a few more million spent on her birthday, and here is some snaps of our day on 9th August, 2012. It started with Amy and I peeling brussel sprouts, yes brussel sprouts in Singapore. WeRead More

She calls our name and we come running, We have lost the voice we listened to, And there's a stillness now the rains stopped falling, And there's a sadness like we never knew, But we still see the shining of things. We love and miss you desperately Ni.

About Brian

I have worked in Telecommunications pretty much all my life, with good fortune to have worked literally across the world with amazing colleagues and clients from Sao Paulo, to Chicago, to LA, to UK, Europe and most recently to South East Asia and Australia.

I love to cook and to write and again for many years now have been writing a food blog, constantly morphing. I have also written a cook book for charitable reasons. I now also write a column for EXMag.sg a men's magazine with a focus on food - recipes and reviews. I do this under the tag-name of Semi-Naked Chef.

I am very focused at charitable work and CSR - having visited Cambodia 6 years running now to build houses on stilts for the less fortunate people there.

I have 3 kids - 2 half-Japanese and 1 half-Filipino.
