I really don’t need to say much to this Blog as I think the song says it all, and I quote; “Because you’re gorgeous I’ll do anything for you, because you’re gorgeous I know you’ll get me through!” What more can I say, never a truer word said Amy Boo. Love Daddy xxxx

Well how time flies – my wee man is now 8 years old. Good grief. We had 20 or so of his mates from school and our of school all come to a “laser shootout”. Amazing fun for the kids and you could measure that on their sweat levels, ha ha. All mum’s and dad’sRead More

Sometimes you have good days, and today was good.  Check out baby Amy for one of her first stands, very proud of her. She will 100% be walking before she is one I think, just a shame her mum is not here to see all this happening. She is such a beautiful little thing, and youRead More

Amazing thing is they have remembered all the lyrics to heart, amazing. Good effort Year 3 Iguanas. So so good isn’t it. Hope you enjoy thisRead More

I don’t know where she gets this from – hmmmmm!!!

This is an absolute beauty of my wonderful daughter. As you can see she’ll make quite a good actress one day. Life for her this day was seemingly so hard, look at the trauma she is clearly going through until, that is, she realizes that Daddy is actually videoing her – watch the change in seconds, haRead More

Yet again my lovely boy Oliver has amazed me. I was speaking (via SMS) to his teacher, Miss Atima, to make sure all was OK with him at school and with his homework. He has a disco tonight so wanted to make sure he was OK.  I receive the following back from Atima, which hasRead More

Yesterday was an interesting day for me, as it was the first business trip I have had to do away from the kids since Ni left us. Bit of a panicky couple of days, but actually Ollie and Amy were fine. Usual thing though of something happening when I was away the fridge packed upRead More

She calls our name and we come running, We have lost the voice we listened to, And there's a stillness now the rains stopped falling, And there's a sadness like we never knew, But we still see the shining of things. We love and miss you desperately Ni.

About Brian

I have worked in Telecommunications pretty much all my life, with good fortune to have worked literally across the world with amazing colleagues and clients from Sao Paulo, to Chicago, to LA, to UK, Europe and most recently to South East Asia and Australia.

I love to cook and to write and again for many years now have been writing a food blog, constantly morphing. I have also written a cook book for charitable reasons. I now also write a column for EXMag.sg a men's magazine with a focus on food - recipes and reviews. I do this under the tag-name of Semi-Naked Chef.

I am very focused at charitable work and CSR - having visited Cambodia 6 years running now to build houses on stilts for the less fortunate people there.

I have 3 kids - 2 half-Japanese and 1 half-Filipino.
