Just like Storage Wars…???

Have you ever seen that show? I am hooked. Barry Weiss is my favourite character. It’s kind of one of those American ‘TV reality shows”, following a load of guys travelling across the US buying up abandoned storage lockers. They have to bid against each other, and then the exciting bit is opening the lockerRead More

Actually you know I don’t know why I call it The Great Escape as basically we’re tunnelling out of Singapore only to put a big U-turn in the tunnel to try and come back every 30 sodding days. Yes my friends Singapore has started to do that to us AGAIN. We now have to exitRead More

Unfortunately Mary, Jude and I are back to square one. The same we were at almost 18 months ago now. Yep they are officially classed as Filipino tourists and have to exit the country every 30 days until we can sort the sh*tty situation out. Believe that is work in progress. Ahhhhhh!!!! Why the bandana hun? Crazy ballet girl. Crazy Gypsy ballet girl. But that being said I had a wonderful time watching her today. She was graceful, she was beautiful, she was actually really good. Let’s continue. “And, jump!!!” Onlookers seem quite impressed too. You know I really am not sure if she is enjoying herself…Read More

I had an idea last week as we walked to a certain hawker. What I thought would be a great family day out. Was I right? Here’s telling. So first up though is baby Jude. Where is he? He looks very relaxed, very calm and sort of chilling. But where is he? Ahhhhhh he’s inRead More

She calls our name and we come running, We have lost the voice we listened to, And there's a stillness now the rains stopped falling, And there's a sadness like we never knew, But we still see the shining of things. We love and miss you desperately Ni.

About Brian

I have worked in Telecommunications pretty much all my life, with good fortune to have worked literally across the world with amazing colleagues and clients from Sao Paulo, to Chicago, to LA, to UK, Europe and most recently to South East Asia and Australia.

I love to cook and to write and again for many years now have been writing a food blog, constantly morphing. I have also written a cook book for charitable reasons. I now also write a column for EXMag.sg a men's magazine with a focus on food - recipes and reviews. I do this under the tag-name of Semi-Naked Chef.

I am very focused at charitable work and CSR - having visited Cambodia 6 years running now to build houses on stilts for the less fortunate people there.

I have 3 kids - 2 half-Japanese and 1 half-Filipino.
