Mary just sent me this, and I thought it was so nice I would share it;  “A mother has strengths that amaze us. She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens. She holds happiness, love and opinions. She smiles when she feels like screaming. She sings when she feels like crying, cries when she isRead More

Well it happened, the wee one became one! 17 kids later, a sweaty Go Go Bambinis experience and some adult enjoyment at Harry’s across the road and hey presto we were done! Beautiful day. Great friends came along and I think Amy really enjoyed it, laughing and giggling most of the day and presents –Read More

Ni you would be proud! Some times our kids will say “hate you Dad”, well not mine yet and you think how can they say that. Well darling I think I can guess why sometimes now. Ollie had Easter Hat parade at school (I know you’re watching them still), but have a look at theRead More

Well how proud am I of this little one. A budding musician in the making it seems. Nearly 12 months now, so we have birthday party plans for her – Go Go Bambinis with a load of her little mates. She’ll love it as she is virtually walking now and loves to play in allRead More

She calls our name and we come running, We have lost the voice we listened to, And there's a stillness now the rains stopped falling, And there's a sadness like we never knew, But we still see the shining of things. We love and miss you desperately Ni.

About Brian

I have worked in Telecommunications pretty much all my life, with good fortune to have worked literally across the world with amazing colleagues and clients from Sao Paulo, to Chicago, to LA, to UK, Europe and most recently to South East Asia and Australia.

I love to cook and to write and again for many years now have been writing a food blog, constantly morphing. I have also written a cook book for charitable reasons. I now also write a column for EXMag.sg a men's magazine with a focus on food - recipes and reviews. I do this under the tag-name of Semi-Naked Chef.

I am very focused at charitable work and CSR - having visited Cambodia 6 years running now to build houses on stilts for the less fortunate people there.

I have 3 kids - 2 half-Japanese and 1 half-Filipino.
