For those of you who have not seen this film, it’s about a gang of mates who go to Vegas for a stag weekend. They tell their wives/girldfriends/wife to be that they are going somewhere else. End up getting drugged on the first night, and losing the bridegroom. Picture the scene they chink the firstRead More

A sad day today, but also a good day. Amy has successfully taken the step to a big girl’s bed and so we said goodbye to her cot – literally just now a lovely lady from the condo who is 5 months pregnant took it off our hands. Her little walker toys, baby clothes, rideRead More

Mr Totton has been busy again!

Approximately 3 years on and back to Mr Totton for another family Kennett photo shoot. This time including “naked”, YES, “naked” Dad. I bought this mini statue of a guy bending over, Mr Totton in creative style saw it, loved it, and thought I know I’ll get Kennett naked with new tattoos! And look atRead More

One the things I have always wanted to see has come to Singapore. For years I have wanted to see the terra-cotta warriors, one time when in Hong Kong Coleman and I nearly did but there was some exhibition which had caused all hotels in Beijing to be full. Shame! One day though I willRead More

Well so I turned 43 in Bali – not monumental in itself as birthdays these days just come and go (to be forgotten to be honest), but what an amazing trip it was. Very good friends of our ours were also getting married “again” (remember the best mans speech blog). So we had a doubleRead More

Well I think the song goes “I have two hands, my left and my right, etc etc”. Here is Amy’s rendition, sitting on our last night in Bali at the Villa complex – just me, the kids and Mary, and giggling giggling. We had a lovely vacation together, and I’ll be posting many more photosRead More

She calls our name and we come running, We have lost the voice we listened to, And there's a stillness now the rains stopped falling, And there's a sadness like we never knew, But we still see the shining of things. We love and miss you desperately Ni.

About Brian

I have worked in Telecommunications pretty much all my life, with good fortune to have worked literally across the world with amazing colleagues and clients from Sao Paulo, to Chicago, to LA, to UK, Europe and most recently to South East Asia and Australia.

I love to cook and to write and again for many years now have been writing a food blog, constantly morphing. I have also written a cook book for charitable reasons. I now also write a column for EXMag.sg a men's magazine with a focus on food - recipes and reviews. I do this under the tag-name of Semi-Naked Chef.

I am very focused at charitable work and CSR - having visited Cambodia 6 years running now to build houses on stilts for the less fortunate people there.

I have 3 kids - 2 half-Japanese and 1 half-Filipino.
